Welcome to Thanksgiving week and Top Ten Tuesday. This week is a freebie (meaning it doesn’t have to be book related) and we’re focusing on thankfulness.
- I am thankful for my husband who deals with my freak outs (and there’s been a lot of those lately).
- I am thankful for my family and I am anxious for the day we can all be together again for Bananagram tournaments, vacations at the lake, large and rambling meals, and beer tastings.
- I am thankful that I am able to telecommute and still have a job.
- I am thankful for my health and the health and well-being of my family and friends.
- I am thankful for my best friend who listens to my rants. (We’ve been friends since we were five-years-old).
- I am thankful for my other good friends who can make me laugh and smile with a snarky text or two.
- I am thankful for my blog that keeps me focused (most of the time).
- I am thankful for my greenhouse, especially during the winter months. It’s so comforting walking into it on a cold and dreary day.
- I am thankful for all the books I have and for all the ARCs that I get. Again, these are great distractors.
- I am thankful that 2021 is almost here. It can only get better, right?
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving wherever you are!
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Artsy Reader Girl. Next week’s topic: Books I Want to Read Again (This could mean books you plan on re-reading OR books you wish you could read again for the first time.)
There are so many things to be thankful..esp. in those difficult times. And yes, it can only get better! Have a wonderful celebration, Deb!
Here’s to 2021!
You have a lot of blessings in life for sure. 🙂
My post.
I do. I need to remember these things more.
Good list. So much to be thankful for! We’re all thankful for you, and your terrific blog. Thanks.
You are too kind. Thankful for Kitchen Riffs and the banter between you and the Missus as well!
Terrific list!
All of us who still have our health and sanity have a lot to be thankful for. I am thinking of those whose lives have been really disrupted by job loss or illness, and hoping times will improve for them.
be well… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Sanity? That’s debatable at times. So thankful for jobs, food security and family!
I AM THANKFUL FOR DEBRA, MY DAUGHTER WHO HAS BROUGHT ME SO MUCH PLEASURE OVER THE YEARS. COVID HAS BEEN HARD AS I SAW HER LAST CHRISTMAS AND NOT SINCE. THE LONGEST SEPARATION WE HAVE HAD SINCE THE DAY SHE WAS BORN. I LONG FOR A HUG AND SPENDING TIME WITH HER AND MIKE. I GET DOUBLE JOY READING HER BLOG AND ZOON TIME SO WE CAN STAY CONNECTED.
DEBRA’S MOM
Back at ya! So thankful for you and everything you’ve taught me. Ready for a holiday together!
What a great list! I’m grateful for so many of these, too! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! xo
Thanks, Liz.
