I am pleased to announce June’s feature for Movies & Munchies. This will be my first time hosting for this relatively new group of cinema culinarians. 
June’s film is Uncorked. This 2020 Netflix original follows Elijah, a young man from Memphis whose dream is to be a master sommelier. His father, an old school BBQ restaurateur, has other ideas. Note that there’s a 2009 Hallmark movie with the same name so make sure you’re watching the one featuring Mamoudou Athie, Courtney B. Vance, Niecy Nash, et al. 
There’s lots of good food featured in Uncorked as well as a lot of good sipping. I want to see what wines you suggest for your smoked or BBQ foods for this round.

My food is made and eaten. I did sip wine with mine but I don’t know if I got photos of that!!! I ended up enjoying this movie and talking about it during one of our wine chats.
